Wallowa Lake Dam project has begun. Coffer dam has been is installed and we are now running our system with stock water only. Expect some fluctuations as the project progresses, we will try to keep everyone posted on flows or delays. NOTICE FOR NOMINATION FOR DIRECTOR OF THE WALLOWA LAKE IRRIGATION DISTRICT
Notice is hereby served that nominations by petition may be made for a position of Director of the Wallowa Lake Irrigation District (WLID). The following position will expire this year and will be filled by election, on a nonpartisan ballot, at the November 4, 2026 election.
Position: Division 3, 3-year term. Division 5, 3-year term
Information regarding Division 3 and 5, eligibility requirements, and copies of nominating petitions may be obtained at the WLID Office located at 65196 Dobbin Rd. Joseph, Oregon, 97846 (541-263-1884). All nominations must be filed with the Secretary of the board not more than 75 nor less than 35 days before the date of the election. The “Petition for Nomination Signature Sheet” and “Declaration of Candidacy” for office forms must by filed, (mailed or hand delivered) with WLID by 5p.m. September 30, 2026.
